Sergey is a professional artist from the former Soviet Union’s Republic of Belarus. He studied at The School of Restoration before attending the Belarus State Academy of Art in Minsk. Drawing equal inspiration from nature and culture, his art embodies abstract interpretations of natural beauty, natural shapes in portraying abstract concepts. His preferred media are oil and watercolor.
His work in religious restoration echoes a spiritual relationship between culture, aesthetics and the human experience, adding yet another dimension to his creative vision while allowing him to apply his talents toward preserving, recreating and bringing new life to historic and cultural works.
Sergey’s work has been displayed across both Eastern and Western Europe. He presently resides in Northeast Ohio with his wife.
